Law of Assumption Manifesting Techniques

I’ve included a list of manifesting techniques below. It’s important to note that the techniques themselves will not manifest for you. Ultimately, feeling the feeling of already having what you want is what manifests. Techniques are a tool to use to help you get into the feeling of already having what you desire. If you are already able to do this easily, you may not need to use the techniques below.

1. SATS (State Akin to Sleep)

📌 What It Is: A relaxed, drowsy state before sleep where the subconscious mind is most impressionable.

How to Do It:

  • Get into a deeply relaxed state, preferably before sleep or after waking.

  • Visualize a short, vivid scene that implies your desire is already fulfilled.

  • Experience it in first-person, using all senses.

  • Feel the reality of it as if it's happening now.

  • Repeat until the scene imagined feels real. This is how you know the seed has been planted and must be given expression.

Why It Works: The subconscious accepts what you impress upon it in this deeply relaxed state, allowing the assumption to manifest.

2. Inner Conversations

📌 What It Is: Controlling your internal dialogue to align with your desired reality.

How to Do It:

  • Observe the conversations you have in your mind throughout the day.

  • Replace limiting self-talk with inner dialogue that affirms your desired state.

  • Imagine others speaking to you as if your wish is already fulfilled.

Why It Works: Your inner speech reflects and shapes your external world. When you shift your inner conversations, your reality must follow.

3. “I Remember When”

📌 What It Is: A method of shifting into your desired reality by mentally placing your current situation in the past.

How to Do It:

  • When something in your life feels stuck or not yet where you want it to be, pause and say, “I remember when…”

  • Describe your present circumstance as if it has already been overcome.
Example: “I remember when money felt tight. Now I have more than enough money all the time”.

  • Feel the relief and naturalness of having already moved beyond the old state.

  • Return to this phrase anytime doubt or resistance shows up.

Why It Works:
By framing the undesired state as something that has already passed, you automatically shift into the identity of someone who has the desire fulfilled.

4. The Lullaby Technique

📌 What It Is: Using simple, rhythmic phrases to gently lull your subconscious into accepting your desired state as true.

How to Do It:

  • As you’re drifting into sleep, allow an image or scene to come to mind that evokes the feeling you desire to have (e.g. gratitude, luck, love, etc.). Focus on this feeling, and what it feels like in your body. Then, begin to repeat a short, soothing phrase that implies your desire is already fulfilled.
Examples: “Thank you,” “It’s done,” or “Isn’t it wonderful?”

  • Allow yourself to feel the comfort and certainty behind the words as you repeat them.

  • Let the phrase fade naturally as you drift off, trusting it has been impressed on your subconscious.

Why It Works:
The subconscious mind is more easily impressed when in a drowsy state. A simple, rhythmic phrase bypasses resistance and gently anchors you into the feeling of your wish fulfilled.

*If you have been struggling with believing whether or not the law of assumption works, here is an exercise that helped me build faith in the law. You don’t have to use a ladder- you can use other items too. I’d recommend choosing an item that you don’t regularly see, but at the same time is an item that your mind will accept.

The Ladder Experiment

📌 What It Is: A test to prove to yourself that imagination creates reality.

How to Do It:

  • Every night, before sleep, visualize yourself climbing a ladder.

  • Feel the texture, see your hands grasping the rungs, experience it vividly.

  • Repeat the scene for 3 nights in a row. After the first night, write down on a piece of paper, “I will not climb a ladder” during the day. Put the paper in a place where you will see it regularly.

  • After three nights of doing this, you can drop it. You can also throw the paper away.

  • Watch as reality brings ladders into your experience despite your conscious denial.

Why It Works: It proves that what you imagine with feeling will manifest, regardless of contrary affirmations.
